Manufacturer ADAM Audio introduced the new A Series studio monitors. The A4V, A7V, A44H, A77H, and A8H speakers feature technology such as rotatable HPS waveguides, DSP-based room correction, and remote control. Here’s more about the new ADAM monitors…

ADAM Audio A Series Studio Monitors

The A Series has 5 models. According to ADAM, the A4V is best suited to smaller studio environments while the A7V goes after the A7X speaker that put the brand on the map. The other monitors offer some interesting features for the price. The A44H is a low-profile alternative to the A7V with similar performance characteristics. At a 19-inch width, the horizontally oriented A44H can sit in a standard rack shelf or mount near a screen. The series is concluded by the 3-way A77H and A8H.

ADAM promises stunning clarity and low distortion owing to new woofers and midrange drivers. There’s also the A Control software that lets you push advanced filters directly to an embedded platform onboard the monitors to compensate for room deficiencies. It was about time someone gave monitor DSPs a honest go at running user-customizable software. In ADAM’s case, the room correction tech is borrowed from Sonarworks. If you ever had an interest in that, you know what to expect. Additionally, the upgradable firmware (which lets ADAM evolve the monitors) and an extended 5-year warranty (plus post-warranty support) ensure the monitors’ longevity.

The manufacturer expects the A Series monitors to find their place in professional and project studios, as well as broadcast, fixed-installation, 3D, immersive, and home audio environments.

Price and availability

The A4V and A7V will be available from May 2022. The A44H, A77H and A8H will be available by the end of August 2022. You’ll fins all products here at Thomann website (affiliate). Prices are as follows:
