SaschArt multiDelay: Stereo Delay with a Twist
Developer SaschArt has released multiDelay, a versatile delay plugin made for creative sound design. The free version already offers a lot of creative possibilities, but you can also get a paid version for €22 with additional features.
multiDelay begins with a stereo delay that can sync to your DAW tempo. Turn up the Warp control for some wacky stereo effects. Then, there are three “child delays”, which are serial delay stages for cascading, complex delay textures and rhythmic layers. The paid version raises the number of “child delays” to 15.
multiDelay also offers a multimode filter for shaping the sound of the delay, as well as a Fadeparameter for smooth transitions.
multiDelay is available for macOS and Windows in VST, VST3, and AU formats.
Morphoice CircuitMix: Console Warmth for your DAW
After the awesome Unstable synth, developer Morphoice is back with CircuitMix, a console warmth emulator for your DAW. The plugin is designed to be inserted on every channel to recreate the sound of an analog mixing desk.
The controls are simple. In addition to Gain and Output knobs, CircuitMix offers a Drive control for adding harmonic saturation. There’s also a Transformer knob that lets you dial in “a natural transformer coil behavior based on magnetic hysteresis”.
CircuitMix is currently only available for macOS in VST3 and AU formats.
Wavemind Shoeless Drive 2.0: Hard-Hitting Overdrive
Here’s one for the metalheads! Wavemind has once again teamed up with Resington for Shoeless Drive 2.0, the latest version of the virtual overdrive pedal. “It’s got the chugs for days”, and it sounds awesome!
In addition to the all-important Drive and Level knobs, Shoeless Drive 2.0 offers a new Shape knob that controls the distortion character. There’s also a Mids switch for additional tone shaping.
Shoeless Drive 2.0 is available for macOS and Windows in VST3, AU, and AAX formats.
