The idea behind the GO live! IEMs was to design an entry-level option that maintains the precision and sonic integrity of the more high-end models in the Vision Ears range. The design uses a hybrid 4-way driver system consisting of a dynamic bass driver, a midrange woofer, a midrange/high-frequency driver, and a tweeter.
According to Vision Ears, the sound is dynamic with enhanced low-end, midrange warmth, and excellent high-frequency detail. With the company’s background in custom in-ear headphone design, they could create a universally fitting earpiece shape that sits comfortably and is well sealed in your ears. Also included is a range of silicone tips in three different sizes, so you can ensure the perfect fit.
The durable construction of the GO live! uses a CNC-milled aluminium shell that ensures longevity, even with everyday use. Meanwhile, the GO live! has a unique high-purity 7N copper cable with TPE coating designed specifically to handle the rigorous demands of the live stage environment.
The cable is available with a standard 3.5 mm connector or a special audiophile version with a 4.4 mm plug that is compatible with certain headphone amps and DAC units. At just over 400 bucks, the GO live! is only “entry-level” compared to extremely high-end IEMs, but you can be sure you’ll get great value for the price.
