iZotope Insight 2: Better Mixing with Precise Analysis

Anyone who regularly works on complex productions knows how important a reliable analyzer is for visual control. This is exactly where Insight 2 shines. The plugin offers precise metering tools for loudness according to international standards and flexible layouts that can be adapted to any workflow. The display reacts in real time, allowing you to track dynamic changes in the mix immediately. This transparency is extremely helpful, especially in mastering, to achieve consistent results across different formats.

Went to their site, picked up a serial number. Tried to use it with Izotope Product Portal software but was unable to login with my Izotope username. The app said I can also login with with Native Instrument credentials, but that didn’t work either. Opened the Native Access app and saw Insight 2 there but when I gave it the serial I got, it said it was invalid. Clicked iLok Authorization, got the response that I should go to the Izotope website. Did that (succesfully logged in with credentials which their app refused), clicked Add Serial Number and it replied “We were unable to add this serial to your account”. Incredible how musical softwares turn mundane stuff into agony.

How did you get a serial number?

I don’t even get a serial number! When I click the “Download for free” button and get sent to the page where you can choose whether to download for Mac or for PC, there is a text-box where the serial number is supposed to be, but it’s just empty :S I am logged in with my iZotope/Native Access account as well, but if I can’t get a serial number there is just no way to register the plugin. Tried it with Brave (shields on and off) and Edge. No luck either way.

Currently the download page is down… Maybe they’re overwhelmed by the amount of requests?

This is typical right now and a known issue.
Disable any blockers when you log into Izotope site and you should get a prompt to link the accounts. I had to do it twice. Izo and NI are unresponsive.
