The new IKEA BLOMPRAKT and NATTBAD Bluetooth speakers provide different ways to listen to music while stylishly decorating your home.
IKEA’s range of wireless speaker systems is constantly expanding with funky new options for you and your loved ones to enjoy your favourite playlists, and some of them have other cool functions too.
IKEA BLOMPRAKT
The BLOMPRAKT is a new bedside LED lamp and speaker combo equipped with Spotify Touch, which only requires a free Spotify account to operate. This feature works seamlessly with the Spotify app, using your listening history and preferences to generate a personalized stream of your favourite music.
The speaker itself resembles something you might find in someone’s home on Tatooine, falling somewhere in between space age and retro aesthetics. Equipped with Bluetooth 5.3, the BLOMPRAKT can be paired with two devices, and you can configure it as a multichannel speaker system. However, each speaker only plays back in mono. Meanwhile, the lamp also offers smart functionality, provided you connect it to a smart plug.
The BLOMPRAKT joins the NATTBAD, an affordable speaker (only $49.99) which was launched last month with similar audio function, cute looks, and availability in three colours to match its surroundings. Overall, these new IKEA speakers promise to be fun additions to your family.

I’ve tested the speaker at my local IKEA. It’s beautiful, but the sound lacks clarity big time. Well, you can’t expect much from a single small full range speaker.
