There’s a lot of new releases today from Ibanez! Here’s a quick overview. The RGA Premium models are being introduced in addition to several signature guitars. There are also various new models for other series from the Japanese manufacturer.
New Ibanez Releases
Ibanez RGA Premium
The new RGA Premium models come equipped with exquisite ingredients. With a lightweight basswood body and a top made from a combination of burlapoplar, maple, walnut, curly maple, and panga panga, these guitars really look the part. The bolt-on, five-strip maple and walnut neck offers a comfortable playing feel, while the ebony fingerboard with offset step pearl dot inlays adds a touch of elegance.
With 24 jumbo frets and a Wizard neck profile, the RGA Premium is well-suited for lighting-fast playing. Equipped with two DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers (neck and bridge), the RGA Premium delivers a powerful, clear tone. The dyna-MIX10 switching system, featuring an Alter Switch and a 5-way switch, enables you to create a wide range of sound variations.
The Gibraltar Standard III bridge ensures stability and optimal tuning, while the Gotoh MG-T tuners enable precise tuning. There is also a 7-string version with the same specifications. Ibanez also offers a version with Edge Tremolo and in Cosmic Blue Burst. All models will soon be available here at Thomann*.
Ibanez JS2480-WH
The new white Ibanez JS2480-WH, a signature from Joe Satriani, looks absolutely stunning. With a lightweight basswood body and a bolt-on, three-piece neck made from maple and bubinga, the JS2480 offers lots of comfortable playability. The rosewood fingerboard features elegant pearl dot inlays and the characteristic Joe Satriani neck profile.
The model is comes with a Sustaniac Driver at the neck and a DiMarzio Satchur8 humbucker at the bridge. It offers a volume control with push/pull function for hi-pass, a tone control with push/pull function for the Sustainiac on/off, and a 3-way mini switch for mode selection. A 3-way toggle switch provides versatile sound options.
The Edge tremolo system and Gotoh tuners ensure precise tuning stability, while the chrome hardware gives the guitar an attractive look. The guitar is made in Japan and comes with a case. You can get the Ibanez JS2480-WH here at Thomann.
Ibanez LB1-BK
With an ash body and a bolt-on one-piece neck made from roasted bird’s-eye maple, Lari Basilio’s Ibanez LB1-BK combines aesthetics with powerful performance, like the RGA Premium. The fretboard offers a compound fretboard radius for optimal comfort and playability.
The guitar is loaded with a Seymour Duncan Lari Basilio humbucker at the bridge and two Lari Basilio single coils (neck and middle). The guitar is also equipped with the dyna-MIX9 system, a Gotoh T1702B tremolo, and Gotoh Magnum locking tuners with H.A.P. You can get the signatura at Thomann*.
Ibanez FLATV2-MSN
The new Josh Smith Signature model, the Ibanez FLATV2-MSN, is also part of the release. The model combines an ash body with a bolt-on S-Tech Wood neck made from roasted maple and a rosewood fingerboard with ivory dot inlays and bone saddle.
Equipped with a Seymour Duncan FLAT5 single coil at the bridge and a FLAT5 humbucker at the neck, this guitar delivers the sound that Josh Smith loves. With an attractive mint sand finish, you can get this model here at Thomann*.
