Easter is almost here, and Ibanez has unveiled quite a few new colors and models for the occasion. Particularly noteworthy are the new models from the AZ Premium and AZ Standard series.
There are also new RG models and several acoustic guitars for you to check out. Here at Thomann*, all new releases will be available shortly.
Ibanez 2026: All-New Multi-Scale Alpha Series and New Iceman Models!
[January 9, 2026] Ibanez 2026 is here! The Japanese guitar maker has unveiled its annual NAMM drop with the new Alpha series being this year’s highlight. Besides this eye-catching multi-scale series, Ibanez has updated its popular RG series with a host of new beautiful colors. There new Iceman guitars, too!
The new Alpha Series takes a Page from Tosin Abasi
Before we get to the updates of Ibanez’ popular series, let’s first take a look at the highlight of Ibanez 2026: the new Alpha series. There are two 8-string and two 7-string multi-scale models, respectively. Noticeable highlights are the neck profile (Parallel Wizard AS), the angled pickups (Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, Ceramic at the bridge and Alnico at the neck), and the color choices.
You get Iron Pewter* (black) and Coral Mirage* (pink-ish) for the 8-string models, and Nebula Shift* (blue) and Iron Pewter* as well for the 7-string guitars of the series.

Ibanez 2026 RG: IV2RG Visions
Ibanez’s arguably most popular series, RG, has also received a host of new models. The most luxurious and visually striking new model is the IV2RG Vision. Thomann has the model in high-gloss green* in stock, and it’s just a feast for the eyes. Matte gold hardware, stunning “Tree of Life” inlays, black limba body, three DiMarzio pickups… Sigh, one day, one day.
It looks to me like the RG series has received the most new models in Ibanez. There are too many to list here, but there are quite a few beauties!
Even icier Iceman models!
And let’s not forget these magnificent new Iceman guitars! Visually, they’re the icing on the Ibanez 2026 cake, to me at least. Thomann has two of the new models in stock: Violin Suburst* and Transparent Blue Gradiation*. These models come with Okoumé bodies and necks, bound jatoba fretboards, and two Super 80 humbuckers.
In addition, there are two new bass models in the Iceman series. There is the Black Flat* model with two Bartolini BH2 humbuckers, and you also get a model in beautiful Cosmic Blue Starburst* with two Nordstrand Big Break humbuckers.
