Get Hooked with Output’s new vocal mangling instrument for Arcade

Output has launched a new extension for its Arcade virtual instrument. Hooked is a novel vocal sample player and mangler where you play various vocal recordings on a virtual keyboard. Some have been recorded dry, while others have been processed with God knows what.
By Output’s own words, there have been pedal boards, pitch shifters, modular gear and analog outboard equipment involved in the recording sessions for Hooked. So, just by playing around with the keyboard and sliders, you can coax some crazy out-there sounds out of Hooked that may or may not resemble the human voice at all. Then process them further with your own plug-ins and gear. And layer them with your instruments, vocals, or noises. There seems a lot of creative potential here. Kudos.
Pricing for Hooked hasn’t been announced and it appears that Output is switching to a subscription model, as there’s a “get 100 days free” promotion on Hooked’s product page.
