The Fender Hypebeast Stratocaster is a Japanese made special edition guitar available in extremely limited quantities. The model features a 9.5-inch radius maple neck, with 22 medium jumbo frets, an alder body, and comes in Hypebeast’s signature navy colour finish, which is all over the fretboard as well as the matching headstock too.

“Fender has always been closely connected to musical culture since its founding in 1946. Similarly, Hypebeast is one of the most influential online media in lifestyle and culture. Through this collaboration, we’re looking forward to bringing music closer to other cultural realms, as we share a passion for music amongst a generation immersed in fashion and lifestyle,” – Edward Cole President of APAC, Fender.

The limited edition guitar has white plastic control knobs and pickup covers, and a special Hypebeast chrome neck plate to let you know that it is a limited run. There appears to be a very short run of only 24 Hypebeast Stratocasters, a bit like the limited Supreme model from 2017.

Don’t believe the hype?

This limited run is all about exclusivity and doesn’t appear to offer much in the way of anything different other than the navy finish and neck plate. However, if you like hyped-up limited edition exclusivity, then you can read all about the guitar from the link below. But for the rest of us, it is “nothing to see here, move along”.

RRP – USD 1600 including a hard shell case
