Conspiracy theorists are circulating a circuit diagram as “proof” that COVID-19 vaccines will be laced with a 5G chip. There’s only one problem – yes, apart from the obvious one that it’s bollocks. The circuit diagram in question is none other than Boss’ venerable MT-2 distortion pedal!

Mario Fusco, a senior software engineer at Redhat, spotted the circuit online and let everyone know via Twitter that the circuit diagram is not a secret 5G chip but a circuit for a Boss MT-2 Metal Zone pedal.
Here in Italy people started to share this figure claiming that this is the diagram of the 5G chip that has been inserted in the Covid vaccine. – Mario Fusco

The shared image has a section labelled 5G Frequency, but I think the giveaways include the words ‘footswitch‘ and ‘MT-2 Gain‘ which are clearly marked. Anyone that plays the guitar and knows basic circuit diagrams (or can read!) can work out that this is a load of rubbish.
I think the conspiracy theorists missed a trick though: they should have gone for a Way Huge Swollen Pickle. Surely that would have made more sense (if that’s the right word)? Or if you want a better ‘5G signal’ you could opt for the Waza Craft version of the MT-2, which I hear can beam signals directly into your brain!
Thank you, Mario for pointing out to the slightly more gullible people out there that Boss MT-2 pedals are safe for consumption. However, we don’t recommend trying to intravenously inject them.
