Cherry Audio wrap-up another jam-packed year of fantastic plugins with the Synthesizer Expander Module, carved from their Eight Voice plugin, and gives it to you free as an early Xmas present!
It’s been an amazing year for Cherry Audio. In what is their fifth year in business, they have managed to cram our hard drives with some utterly fantastic and unbelievably affordable plugins. The list is somewhat incredible…
- Mercury 6, their version of a Jupiter 6
- Novachord & Solovox, recreations of some of the earliest synthesizers
- Octave Cat, an officially endorsed screamer!
- Harmonia, Mitchell Sigman’s harmonic brainchild
- PS-3300, a brilliant recreation of KORG’s behemoth
- Pro Soloist, the classic ARP reimagined and expanded
All of the above are now included in their Synth Stack 4 which gathers all the Cherry Audio synth plugins together in one, even MORE affordable package! If you already own a bunch of Cherry Audio synths, check your account for an incredible discount!
And now, as a gift to everyone to celebrate 5 years of business and the wonderful community, Cherry Audio has released one final synth for 2023 and made it completely free of charge! Dan Goldstein and Mitchell Sigman made the announcement live on Friday on the Pro Synth Network LIVE! Show where they thanked their entire team and all of their customers for a fantastic year. They also promised that 2024 would not see them taking their foot off the gas. Apparently, they are already two synths ahead of where we are now. So plenty more great instruments to look forward to!
The Cherry Audio Synthesizer Expander Module
One-eighth of their Eight Voice instrument, both of which pay homage to one of the greatest and best-sounding American synths ever made, the Synthesizer Expander Module is as authentic as one might expect. It accurately replicates the multi-mode filter of the original as well as the dual oscillators. Mark Barton also modelled the Oberheim Phasor stomp box effect and dropped this into the synth. This adds great dimension to this already fulsome voice.
Looks Good Too!
Whilst the Synthesizer Expander Module has been lifted from Cherry Audio’s Eight Voice product, it has also received a gorgeous makeover by Mal Meehan. Mal joined Cherry Audio around a year ago and has brought his immense design talents to bear on all of this year’s plugins. And a fine job he has done too!
It would be remiss of me not to remind you of Cherry Audio’s Synth Stack 4 which launched last week alongside their Pro Soloist. If you own none of their synths, this is the best way to round them all up for an amazing single price. It is currently on offer, making it an even greater deal. But bear in mind, that offer only has a few more days to run!
