Blackstar Debut Bass: 2 New Bass Practice Amps
Two new bass practice amps from Blackstar
The Blackstar Debut Bass range of bass combos is available as either a 15W or a 25W amp, both perfect for practicing your basslines.
Blackstar Debut Bass
Blackstar has just launched their two new bass combos: Debut Bass Combo 15W and the Debut Bass Combo 25W. Rated at 15 watts and 25 watts respectively, these two compact bass amps are perfect for home use and practice sessions.
Debut Bass Combo 15W
The Debut Bass Combo 15W has a 6.5″ speaker and controls for Volume, Low, Mid, and High. This model has Clean and Overdrive channels and offers what they describe as punchy cleans to gritty, driven amp tones. It should easily cover most home needs, and it includes both a Line In for playing your backing tracks and a headphone out for silent practice.
Debut Bass Combo 25W
If you need a little more power than the Debut Bass Combo 25W offers 25 watts of power and has an 8″ speaker for a little more depth of sound. It comes with the same two channels and three-band EQ section as the smaller 15-watt edition, along with the same line-in and headphone output.
Bedroom & Home Studio
Both models are aimed squarely at musicians who need a compact, portable home practice/home studio amp and aren’t designed for stage use. These types of low-wattage bass amps are perfect for figuring out basslines at home whilst sitting on the sofa, or jamming with friends at home.
These two new bass practice amps are competitively priced and offer just enough in terms of features to make them a useful addition for any budding bass players who need some quality bass amp tones without spending a fortune.
Price & Availability
The Debut Bass Combo 15W costs $176/£157€179 and the Debut Bass Combo 25W is $235/£210/€239 , both are available now at Thomann.
