The integration of Wi-Fi, cloud storage and music streaming makes the device more flexible than ever before – and that’s what often makes the difference in today’s DJing world. The redesigned jog wheel, larger display and new workflow options demonstrate that this is a well-considered update designed to meet professional demands. The ability to access cloud services and streaming platforms directly gives DJs more freedom than ever before. Integrating WiFi and NFC into the CDJ-3000X opens up new ways of selecting music. If you’re playing a track, the entire file is cached in the player’s memory. This means that the track will continue to play until the end, even if the USB drive is removed. Finally!
The internal improvements extend deep into the audio technology. A new digital-to-analogue converter from ESS Technology ensures balanced sound with an improved signal-to-noise ratio. Together with the redesigned power supply, it produces a powerful sound in the lower frequencies while revealing finer details in the upper spectrum. These characteristics are noticeable not only in clubs, but also during studio use.

The USB-B port has been removed as it is no longer necessary, as most devices nowadays have a USB-C connection anyway.
The CDJ-3000X can be used with not only Rekordbox or Serato DJ Pro, but also Algoriddim djay Pro and Traktor Pro 4. Music libraries from different software programmes can be merged via the cloud. This transforms the player into a tool that adapts to personal workflows rather than dictating them. Wow!
