Who had Eurorack guitar on their 2026 bingo card? The ADDAC120 Four Strings Series is just that, a set of electro-acoustic modules from ADDAC System with headstock and bridge, quadraphonic pickup, plectrums, and even an Ebow harness. Time to get excited.

There are numerous ways to play your guitar through Eurorack, but an actual Eurorack guitar? Correct me if I’m wrong, but this may be a first. The ADDAC120 Four Strings Series from ADDAC System puts an actual stringed instrument into your Eurorack cab.
The ADDAC120 is comprised of modules that together make up an electro-acoustic instrument with strings that is very guitar-like in tone and playability, but with CV control and all the other wild things you expect from Eurorack.

Eurorack Guitar: The Modules
The ADDAC120 series includes seven modules that you can buy individually or as sets.
They are:
- ADDAC120 Headstock & Bridge: Designed to work with strings up to .055 gauge (or larger with customization). Features locking tuners.
- ADDAC121 Humbucker: Includes Tone and Volume knobs plus a low/hi gain switch for saturation. The pre-amp brings the volume up to synth level.
- ADDAC122 Quadraphonic Pickup: The Quadraphonic Pickup lets you control the volume of each string individually. There’s also a mono out.
- ADDAC124 Plectrums: Four mechanical plectrums with CV, MIDI and push-button control. There are also three modes: Pluck Mode, Harmonic Mode, and off.
- ADDAC125 Strings Mute: Dampens the strings with a mechanical dampener. Connect it to a Plectrum module to operate.
- ADDAC126 Rotary Exciter: Features a 7000rpm brushless motor that spins four magnets and causes the strings to vibrate. Includes manual and CV control.
- ADDAC127 Ebow Slider: Offers a harness with adjustable height and sliding mechanism for an Ebow.
- ADDAC120F Strings Frame: A 122HP skiff for your stringy modules.
As for the sets, they are:
- ADDAC120BS Strings Basic System: Includes the Headstock & Bridge, Humbucker, and Rotary Exciter
- ADDAC120HS Strings Humbucker System: Includes the skiff, Headstock & Bridge, Humbucker, Plectrums, Strings Mute, and Rotary Exciter
- ADDAC120QS Strings Quadraphonic System: Same as the ADDAC120HS but with a Quadraphonic Pickup instead of the Humbucker and the Ebow Slider.
- ADDAC120MHS Strings Monster Humbucker System: Includes ADDAC 901M 3U Monster Frame at 197HP, Headstock & Bridge, Humbucker, Plectrums, Strings Mute and Rotary Exciter
- ADDAC120MQS Strings Monster Quadraphonic System: Same as the Quadraphonic system but with the Monster Frame instead.

This new Eurorack guitar-style series from ADDAC System is very cool indeed. It’s great to see manufacturers taking chances and trying new things. But then, that’s what Eurorack is all about, isn’t it?
The entire ADDAC120 Four Strings Series is available now from ADDAC. Prices start at €110 for the Humbucker module and sets start at €420 for the Basic System and go up to €1570 for the Strings Monster Quadraphonic System.
