Kiviak Instruments WoFi LE: The WoFi Loses its Keys and Gets (a lot!) more Affordable

The new Kiviak Instruments WoFi LE is a compact desktop version of the popular performance sampler – at a significantly lower price!
Kiviak Instruments WoFi LE
The Kiviak Instruments WoFi has quickly made a name for itself as an inspiring performance sampler that puts the fun back in sampling. Until now, however, the WoFi was only available with keys, which wasn’t a perfect fit for every setup. But that’s about to change: At Superbooth 26, Kiviak Instruments presents the WoFi LE: a compact and affordable desktop version with the same inspiring workflow and even a couple of new features.
Even at first glance, you can tell that Kiviak hasn’t simply cut off the keys. Although the WoFi LE seems to have the same screen and blue encoder as the keyboard version, the rest of the panel is quite different. While the standard WoFi has dedicated controls for envelopes, filter, texturer, and LFO, the desktop version provides access to these functions via a number of buttons. Instead of the black and white keys, there’s a 3-octave rubber keyboard that doubles as a sequencer.

They also left out a couple of other features of the keyboard version, such as the built-in battery and speaker. Instead of the WoFi’s retro memory cartridge system, the WoFi LE offers a standard SD card slot, which I think is a great choice.
According to the manufacturer, the desktop version offers the same hands-on workflow that made the original WoFi so popular. You can record, chop, and manipulate samples in real time and drop new samples into a running pattern at any time. The Revision mode lets you instantly switch between different versions of sounds and sequences, which is an awesome performance feature. Samples can be synced over WiFi and shared with other users via the myWoFi app.

Price and Availability
While the keyboard version remains the flagship, the WoFi LE has one big advantage: it’s much more affordable. Kiviak Instruments plans to ship the sampler in late 2026 / early 2027 for €299 / $349.

Price Drop for the Original WoFi
If you still want the keyboard version, there’s good news for you, too! Effective today, Kiviak Instruments has announced a significant price drop for the original WoFi from €729 / $729 to just €499 / $579.
