Córdoba Stage Artist: Beautiful Classical Guitars in Three Colors
The new series is a further development of the popular Stage Series!

Ever since Tim Henson, cool classical guitars have been popular with the masses. Manufacturers such as Godin and Córdoba have also been showing for some time now how innovative classical guitars can be. The new Córdoba Stage Artist series is a step beyond the popular Stage Series, with exciting new colors and enhanced tonal detail.
Córdoba Stage Artist Series: An Evolution of the Stage Series
The popular Stage Series served as the basis for the new models, which are classical guitars with nylon strings in a thinline, chambered-body design. The Córdoba Stage Artist Series is named for the manufacturer’s further development of the Stage models based on feedback from various musicians and artists with whom it collaborates.

Stage Artist models have a slightly thicker body due to larger internal chambers. This results in a louder, fuller sound, even without any amplification. The body contour on the back has also been slightly modified to make the new models more comfortable to play. The neck heel, i.e., the transition between the neck and the body, has also been adapted so that the high frets remain easily accessible despite the thicker body.

The three guitars from the Córdoba Stage Artist Series feature a chambered mahogany body and a solid spruce top with high-quality flamed maple veneer. The three-piece neck is also made of mahogany (with a Fusion C neck profile and 1.95-inch nut width), topped with a bound ebony fretboard with maple binding and 22 frets.

The rosewood headstock with maple binding and the Arches logo is also pretty impressive. The manufacturer has also fitted beautiful Córdoba Flower Petal tuners, which contrast beautifully with the otherwise very modern look.

This classical guitar with a cutaway also comes with a battery-powered pickup system, a Fishman Stage Pickup System, which we know from the Stage Series. It consists of an under-saddle piezo pickup and several body sensors. Their signal can be mixed with the piezo signal via the third “Body” control for more richness and punch.

In addition, the first knob controls the master volume, while the middle knob attenuates the treble (left) or bass (right) using an EQ.
Price and availability
The Córdoba Stage Artist series comes in three colors: Agave Burst, Habano Burst, and Traditional. Each model has an MSRP of $1,199.99. As soon as the guitars are available at Thomann, you’ll find out here.
Until then, there’s still the Stage Series, which isn’t far off in terms of looks and features.
