KORG has announced the Liano LIVE! The compact digital piano is tailored to the needs of live streamers and content creators, featuring a built-in mixer, rhythm patterns, sound effects, and even a microphone.

Yes, you heard that right: KORG’s new digital piano is really named ‘Liano’. I assume this is supposed to mean something along the lines of ‘live piano’, as the shiny new instrument is all about live streaming and content creation. If you publish piano videos on YouTube or TikTok, the Liano LIVE! offers everything you need in a sleek, convenient package.
The compact digital piano has 88 velocity-sensitive, semi-weighted keys. There’s no hammer action, but this keeps the Liano extremely lightweight at just under 6 kg / 13 lbs. The built-in speakers put out 2 × 8 watts.
The Liano LIVE! includes eight sounds for a wide variety of styles. In addition, you get ten rhythm patterns and 76 sound effects, which you can trigger on the fly using six push buttons.
While you’re playing and streaming, you can record your voice using the included dynamic microphone (KORG even throws in a mic stand and cable!), and use the built-in mixer to dial in the perfect balance between piano, voice, and rhythm. The fourth slider controls an external signal from the USB or line inputs, so you can play along to your favorite tunes. Reverb can be added to the piano and voice at the push of a button. And just in case something unexpected happens during your stream, there’s a big red ‘On Air’ button that mutes everything immediately.
The digital piano connects directly to your computer or smartphone via USB-C, so you don’t need any additional equipment to start streaming or recording. It is powered by six AA batteries or the included power adapter.
Besides a 3-month trial subscription to online piano lessons from Skoove, the Liano LIVE! comes with the KORG Module iOS app, which includes a high-quality sound library for performance and production. You also get the KORG Gadget 2 Le DAW app and a discount coupon for TuneCore.
