To clean up vocal recordings, voiceovers, and dialogue, VoiceAssist uses six distinctive processing sections, each designed to target a different problem area in the signal. The Clean Section can remove unwanted ambience and background noise, as well as compensate for cases where the mic is not correctly positioned, with the unique Recover Highs function.
The Dynamics Section will analyze the recording and create customized volume automation specifically for your application. Its High Speed mode delivers volume riding subtly, while Fast Speed mode is more severe, which is perfect for rap vocals. You can also work in LUFS-I or LUFS-S and use integrated peak control, which will only trigger compression when it’s absolutely necessary.
To give your voice more low-end weight, the Lowend Section uses resonance reduction and low-cut filtering based on pitch tracking. This provides a cleaner and sound with enhanced overall impact. Sibilance can make or break a vocal recording, so the Sibilance Section uses an intuitive detection engine to reduce harsh breaths and sibilant elements, and you can adjust the processing for the best results.
Finally, the Gate Section provides a content-aware vocal gate that provides natural processing with a level of transparency you won’t notice in the final product.
