As you may have heard, FL Studio Web brings the popular DAW into your browser. Is this the future of music production unfolding before our eyes?

Imagine-Line has always tried to make music production accessible and sustainable with solutions like the Fruity Edition of FL Studio for under $100, as well as its Lifetime Free Updates policy across all versions of the DAW.

FL Studio Web

Although it’s still in Beta, FL Studio Web is worth getting excited about for many reasons. Rather than being a standalone system, this new browser-based version of FL Studio offers a scaled-down version of the interface and the potential to integrate with any current version of the DAW.

Not only does this open the gates of music production to a new generation of users, but it also provides a new intermediary tool that is ideal for collaborative songwriting. As an artist, you might find yourself at a recording session at a studio that doesn’t have FL Studio on its main system. Now, you’ll be able to get your ideas down in your DAW of choice and scale them up later in your own studio.

If you’re a complete beginner, Image-Line has designed this new Web edition of FL Studio to be the easiest way to learn about music production, with a built-in helper to guide you through each part of the interface. You also have access to a range of native FL Studio plugins and the FL Cloud content library, so there is a world of creativity at your fingertips.

Because FL Studio already offers one of the easier DAW interfaces with which to familiarize yourself, making the jump to a browser-based version makes plenty of sense.
