Originally implemented on tape machines with manual tape delay and varispeed modulation, this technique now works digitally with astonishingly authentic character. Tape Double Track replicates the behavior of real tape while adding modern tools. In addition to a faithful ADT simulation, it offers flexible modulation shapes, such as sine, triangle, or random, as well as tape-typical irregularities that can be activated via the Randomize & Recalibrate function. These subtle fluctuations add liveliness to the signal without sounding artificial.
The controls are amazingly versatile. You can independently adjust parameters such as panorama, drive, mute, phase, and level, giving the plugin enormous sonic depth.
