At first, the Instamic Pro Plus C looks like just another wireless microphone that you see many influencers using, but there is more to it than meets the eye.

Contained within its minuscule 1.5 x 1 x 0.5-inch casing is a MEMS microphone array that can handle sound sources of up to 135 dB SPL with a 40 – 20,000 Hz frequency range. Also, the Instamic Pro Plus C has 32-bit recording capabilities, so clipping is a thing of the past. This makes it ideal for use in unpredictable outdoor environments where sound levels can fluctuate.
The Instamic Pro Plus C can also withstand rugged conditions, from nasty weather to dust, and can even survive water submersion for up to 30 minutes. This makes it the perfect recorder for documentaries and action video capture. There are three different ways to attach the device, including adhesive tape, a magnetic clip, and nano suction tape, so you can mount it to almost any surface.
Because the Pro Plus C is designed to meet professional standards, it has an internal 2.5 ppm timecode clock and offers support for Atomos and Tentacle Sync wireless timecode. In addition, it will also work as a Bluetooth microphone for computers and mobile devices, with the accompanying app allowing direct video capture and simultaneous management of up to 10 units.
Overall, with its 16 GB of internal storage and 4.5-hour battery, the Instamic Pro Plus C is clearly far more than just a wireless microphone. What’s more, there are two models available, a mono version and a mono/stereo version.
