Noel Gallagher Les Paul Standard
Noel has been busy working with Gibson, and this new Noel Gallagher Les Paul Standard is the result of a whole summer of Oasis gigs. We saw him try out a P90-loaded Les Paul Standard for the Live ’25 tour, and now a standard-production version of this guitar is available. However, it is another limited run, not a regular production run.
It has the usual solid mahogany body with a maple top and comes with a rosewood fretboard fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets atop the SlimTaper profile mahogany neck. All pretty standard stuff, and it comes finished in an ebony nitrocellulose finish.
P-90 Power
The Gibson P-90 Soapbar pickups are both fitted with chrome covers, just like the Custom Shop run, and the guitars have a very similar aesthetic all around. It has the standard Les Paul control layout with two volume and tone controls, plus a three-way selector switch, and is fitted with black Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors and dial pointers.
Hardware includes an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, plus a set of Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons.
Signature
It doesn’t scream Oasis or Noel Gallagher, which is a good thing; however, there is a Noel Gallagher signature decal on the rear of the guitar’s headstock.
A sleek-looking Les Paul Standard that is more affordable than the Custom Shop edition. You don’t get the handwritten lyric sheet and kudos of the ultra-limited edition; however, it’s a decent-looking Les Paul standard, and P-90 pickups are a lot of fun!
