The IK Multimedia ReSing plugin is now available as a purchased download, a vocal instrument with the AI-assisted bi-lingual voice engine.
Whenever a new plugin is launched that harnesses AI technology, the response from musicians instantly reminds me of the “They Took Our Jobs” town meeting in a certain South Park episode about time immigrants. When we look past the sensationalized and often irrational AI fear, however, we have some unique tools that can be used creatively in many ways.
IK Multimedia ReSing
ReSing is a new native voice modeling instrument that provides a library of 25 voices and 25 instruments with English and Spanish language support. However, ReSing also gives you the means to create your own vocal instruments by loading stems into the ReSing Modeler and training your own AI.
Besides using the included range of ReSing instruments, this allows you to record a professional session vocalist or your own unique voice and build a new, unique instrument from the recorded takes. Alternatively, you can also import any RVC models available online, so the range is limitless.
To help you shape the perfect vocal, the ReSing interface allows you to combine two different AI models and balance between the two sounds. In each case, you can transpose the voice and adjust the character of the performance to suit a specific section in the song you’re creating. In addition, you can also set the dynamic and accent of the model to change the level of expression.
In addition, ReSing provides a rather extensive effects section. Here, you can shape the sound in different ways, including dynamics, tone, tuning, and reverb. Overall, ReSing is set to become a powerful creative tool, perfect for advertising music composition, and vocal sound design for films and video games.

FWIW the free male voice is “Neil” which sounds like the creed dude. The other is a chick
Temu-level singing models that sound horrific, as usual IK multimedia selling bloated underwhelming software that isn’t even worth cracking…much less paying for. This is a direct ripoff of the Micdrop plugin.
