Drag & Drop

There is a drag-and-drop effect chain with up to 7 simultaneous effects available at any one time. The system offers 200 user presets in total. Allowing players more than enough options to customise the unit and make it their own. It also features 100 rhythm patterns and includes a metronome for practice.

The online Hotone Community can be used to download presets and share any you have created.

USB Audio Interface

It will also act as an audio interface with 2-in/2-out via USB and with a 24-bit / 48kHz recording rate. This could be very useful for getting song ideas down when you want to try out your latest riffs and hear them in a track. This also supports loopback and reamping. The USB-C port is also used for any firmware updates.

Built-in Battery

It has a 3900mAh battery built in, which offers around  11.5 hours of use with headphones or around 5.5 hours of playback at what Hotone calls medium volume. Making this little unit perfect for travelling. Potentially, a very useful tool to keep in your gig bag. It also doubles up as a Bluetooth speaker, if you just want to listen to some music.

Extra Control Options

The Pulze Control wireless MIDI footswitch, which is sold separately, can be used to control the unit whilst you are playing. This can switch presets and turn on/off effects, plus users can plug an expression pedal into this for even more control.

Price & Availability

The Hotone Pulze Mini is available now for £87/99 at Thomann.
