Broadkaster Center Block
Gretsch has just announced the Electromatic Broadkaster Center Block and Electromatic Broadkaster Center Block Jr. They follow the recent G5230T models in sparkling silver, gold, and the Paisley Penguin.
Single or Double-Cut
This model is available with either a single-cutaway or double-cutaway flame okoume body. Both versions feature a chambered spruce center block for improved resonance and control.
The spruce center block offers lightweight comfort and excellent feedback rejection. It provides an open and airy sound while still maintaining clarity, snap, and attack.
They both have a thin U-shaped mahogany neck and a 12-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets.
USA Full’Tron
Key hardware includes USA Full’Tron pickups, a Bigsby B70 vibrato tailpiece, an Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge, a Graph Tech NuBone nut, and locking tuners.
They both feature a master volume with treble bleed circuit, a master tone control, individual pickup volume controls, and a three-position pickup selector switch.
These U.S.-made Full’Tron humbucking pickups, designed by the renowned Tim Shaw, deliver a full-spectrum sonic range with a distinctive snarl. They offer a slightly more pronounced mid-range, adding even more tonal muscle when playing at full volume with overdrive and distortion.
Orange & Gold
Offering some very nice specifications and with gold hardware throughout, these are two classy-looking guitars. Both models are finished in Roundup Orange Stain.
