Sennheiser’s Profile System is a versatile solution for video content creation, released in 2024, and now there’s a new single-channel version of this microphone kit for solo creators.

Alongside this, Sennheiser also made the latest firmware update available for the Profile System. This gives you the option of 32-bit float audio recording, which was a much-requested feature from current Profile users.

With the Sennheiser Profile Wireless system, you get a complete, compact 2-channel wireless microphone system for creating video content.
Up until now, manufacturers like RODE have been particularly dominant in this space. So it was only a matter of time before we began to see similar 2.4 GHz solutions from Sennheiser, a market leader in microphone and wireless technology.

The modular design of the Profile Wireless allows you to use it in various configurations. With the two clip-on transmitters and one receiver, you have compatibility with cameras, laptops, and mobile devices.
What’s more, the compact charging and storage case can be used as a handheld mic on its own, and the device will charge in one and a half hours and give you up to seven hours of wireless recording time.
In use, the transmitters have some great features to make content creation a hassle-free process. With clipping protection, you can minimize the risk of any sudden spikes in audio level.
