Win a Hughes & Kettner Amp Pedal!
To get our annual XMAS raffle started, you have the chance to win a Hughes & Kettner amp pedal! And the Spirit AmpMan Modern gets you in to classic rock, hard rock and metal territory easily! It outputs 50 watts at 4 Ohm, 25 watts at 8 Ohm, and 12.5 W at 16 Ohm, depending on your selection. So it can be combined with a variety of cabs.
Ths Hughes & Kettner amp pedal features two voicings. Channel 1 offers a more vintage-flavored sound that gets you anything from blues up to modern clean sounds. In comparison, channel 2 sounds more evil (so it has a red master volume control, fittingly). This voicing covers sounds in the realm of high-gain rock and monstrous metal sounds from the ’90s until today.
Both voicings offer separate controls vor master volume, gain, tone, resonance, presence, sagging and amp volume. The tone control isn’t your ordinary high-shelf or low-shelf filter, however. With it you continously dial in your preference between a more British or a more Californian flavored sound. But it doesn’t stop there. You also get a boost and a serial FX loop, both with independent footswitches!
Based on H&K’s Black Spirit 200, the Hughes & Kettner Spirit AmpMan Modern also includes a headphone output for practicing at home, an IDB noise gate, and a Red Box AE+ DI-out with 8 cabinet simulations.

Entering the raffle is free of charge. You must be a resident of the European Union and be at least 14 years of age to enter. You can only enter once, multiple entries per competition will result in automatic disqualification. The prize is a Hughes & Kettner Spirit AmpMan Modern pedal
All eligible participants who select the correct answer will be entered into the prize draw. A random generator will select one entry and the lucky winner will be notified by us (or the manufacturer) (delivery address will be requested by email). So please enter a valid email address! Employees of GEARNEWS.com, all associated companies, and their family members are excluded from the competition.
Your data will only be stored for the purposes of this competition and will not be passed on to third parties. There is no right of appeal and no cash alternative. The competition will run from Monday, December 01, 2025, to Monday, December 08, 2025 (16:59:59 CET). Any entries received after this date will not be considered.
