Thomann #PracticeRoomDays Contest: Win upgrades for your rehearsal space
Thomann is running a competition that could be of interest to all you practice room users out there. It’s giving away some gear to upgrade your space, including acoustic panels, PA speakers and (most importantly?) a fridge in the shape of a Marshall stack.

In all those years spent rehearsing, a lot of the time the acoustics were bloody awful. In most rooms, the guitarists (me included) would moan that they couldn’t hear themselves, the singer would get drowned out to the extent you couldn’t even hear which part of the song you’re all supposed to be playing… In terms of the sonic properties of the space, rehearsing was often a catastrophic mess. But there are a few simple tricks that can help that don’t cost the earth.
Competition
Thomann has put up some simple tutorials with basics on optimising your practice room. In parallel, they’re running a promotion for the page that gives you the chance to win a few goodies to pimp your room. All you have to do is upload a 1-minute video to instagram of your rehearsal space that tries to convince them how badly you need one of the prizes. If your plight is bad enough and entertainingly presented, you’re in with a chance.
