Thomann Live Days 2026: Hands-On Gear, Workshops, and Scene Vibes Are Back – For Free!
Workshops, Live Performances, and Real Gear in Action: Experience Technology in a Real-World Setting
With the event Live Days, Thomann brings back something that is often missing in everyday studio life: real experience instead of theory. You can touch, listen, try things out, and talk directly to people who work with this gear every day. Instead of just reading specs or watching videos, you get an environment where technology becomes tangible. That is exactly where the difference lies, because many ideas and decisions only really make sense once you put them to the test in real use.
Thomann Live Days – Here’s What to Expect
Workshops at Live Days: Hands-On Learning in Real-World Settings
A major part of Live Days, running from May 11 to 30, focuses on workshops that move straight into real applications. Mixing consoles are set up, large PA systems run under real conditions, and lighting setups show what they can actually do. On top of that, engineers and professionals are on site to share their experience directly. That mix ensures knowledge sticks because it is experienced, not just explained.
Live Days Expo: Test, Compare, and Understand Gear Right Away
At the same time, the Live Days Expo creates an atmosphere that is hard to replicate elsewhere. Manufacturers are not just standing behind booths. They are actively engaging, answering questions, and guiding you through their setups. You can test gear, compare solutions, and immediately understand how they differ. Live acts also perform and show how everything works in context. That creates a much clearer picture than any spec sheet ever could.
Live Days are structured so you can set your own focus. Some days dive deeper into audio, others shift toward video and lighting, while additional sessions highlight topics like in-ear monitoring, microphones, or large-scale systems. That structure keeps things focused without becoming overwhelming. At the same time, conversations, new connections, and fresh ideas emerge naturally throughout the event.

Live Days at a Glance: What to Expect On Site
Live Days feels less like a trade show and more like a meeting point for anyone who takes technology seriously. If you want to grow professionally, connect with others, or simply get back in touch with real gear, this is the place to be. Especially if you work with gear on a regular basis, you will quickly see what actually holds up in practice and what only looks good on paper.
You can register via the Eventbrite link. Expo access and many workshops are free, while selected sessions require a fee starting at €49. More information is available here*.
