As always, SSL is constantly coming up with new solutions for musicians, producers, and engineers to make our lives easier. This time, the legendary console manufacturer has blessed us with a batch of three plugins, strategically designed to slot straight into your workflow.
SSL autoSeries Bundle
First up, we have the autoBUS plugin, which is a simplified version of the famous bus compressor from the SL 4000 G series consoles. Leveraging Sonible’s adaptive learning technology, autoBUS takes a reading of the incoming signal and matches the parameter settings using a style-based profile that is built in real time.
If you’re new to the music production game, you might still be a little intimidated by the concept of processing your master bus. This is why autoBUS is the ideal solution, as it guides beginners through the process while giving more experienced users a quick and intuitive solution.
The next member of the autoSeries family is autoDYN, a dynamics processor based on the channel strip from the SL 4000 E series console. autoDYN provides the compressor/limiter and gate/expander sections with the same new modern twist from Sonible that analyzes the input signal.
With the flexibility of parallel processing and an external sidechain input, autoDYN is bound to make its way onto the roster of your most frequently used plugins. Finally, autoEQ gives you the EQ section from the SL 4000 E series consoles, also enhanced with the Sonible signal analysis feature. Together, these three plugins in the autoSeries Bundle form a powerful production toolkit to tackle any part of your mix.
