According to Landreth, the modified Fender Princeton is unreliable for touring. Therefore, he wanted a pedal that would authentically capture the essence of the agonizing, full-blown Princeton sound and also make it adjustable.
The Dirtdog delivers touch sensitivity and rich overtones. It provides an amp-like overdrive with creamy, three-dimensional mids.
