The Voltage Lab 2 is a sound designer’s dream: With two “Laboratory Oscillators” with extensive waveshaping capabilities, two Dynamics Controllers, two function generators, a ring modulator, and much more, it’s a fascinating modular playground for sonic experimentation. It also includes effects such as flanger/chorus and delay.

While the top half of the panel contains the sonic building blocks, the lower half is occupied by the Voltage Lab’s ingenious dual-channel touch controller for expressive control. There’s even a sequencer with Euclidean pattern generation and randomization. A fantastic complete system for sonic experimentation!

I bought this synth on black week last year at an eve cheaper price. However, I had to send mine in for repair because it had a lot of self noise, for example cv frequencies coming from different parts of the instrument and appearing on the output. It wasn’t very intuitive to work with either. There were a few YT videos coming when they first started selling ut, but after that it doesn’t show up in many videos. Anyway, the European supplier couldn’t fix my synth and I ended up getting my money back. To be honest I was disappointed with this product, especially since I have the first version (and digging it) and was really looking forward to playing this synth. So this is my warning

Great deal, I grabbed one yesterday, really looking forward to discovering the VL2. and Boom Chick, note thst this this drum machine is not modular though, the patch points are only ins and outs. I love that it has humanize in the sequencer, wish Elektron would implement that.
