New XAOC Devices Modules: Oradea and Arad Are Machines That Go Ping!

Mimic the resonant characteristics of objects and spaces with the new XAOC Devices modules Oradea and Arad, a quadruple analog resonator and expander.
New XAOC Devices Modules
Following on Samarkanda, a massive four-channel Eurorack delay, comes two new XAOC Devices modules that again use the power of four to let you do some pretty cool synthesis, this time with analog resonators.

New XAOC Devices Modules: Oradea
The first of the two new XAOC Devices modules being released in time for Superbooth25 is Oradea. A quadruple voltage-controlled analog resonator, you can use it with external audio or to generate tones on its own. The 20HP Eurorack module can mimic the resonant characteristics of physical objects or spaces, opening up all kinds of synthesis opportunities.

You can tune the frequency response of the module over the entire range of audible frequencies with V/oct response. It also offers control over the resonance of each band up to extremely high values and with a long response to pinging. Speaking of pinging, Oradea features with four individual trigger inputs for exciting its filters with internally generated, uniform, and finely tuned impulses.
Additionally, there are individual outputs for sending out each band separately. Conveniently, there’s resonant frequency gain compensation at play to prevent distortion, along with a VCA and polarity switch on each channel.
New XAOC Devices Modules: Arad
The other of the two new XAOC Devices modules is Arad. Built as an expander for Oradea, the 6HP Arad adds three additional features: direct audio inputs for individual channels allowing you to use each filter with a different audio source, buttons and gate inputs for manual and remote clickless muting of the channels, and an additional four buttons that work in parallel with the trigger inputs on Oradea for manual triggering.

New XAOC Devices Modules: Price and Availability
Both of these new XAOC Devices modules will be available in June. Oradea will sell for €520 while Arad will go for €120.
