The new IK Multimedia AmpliTube Joe Satriani ‘plugin suite’ is available as both a stand-alone desktop app and as a plug-in for your favourite DAW. As mentioned above, the AmpliTube Joe Satriani comes with five stompbox effects and three amp models, giving you all those classic Satch tones. Now all you need, are the chops!
Big Bad Moon
The amp models included were voted for by Satriani fans;
- Satch VM – Marshall JVM410HJS signature head and matching cabinet
- SJ50 – ‘93 Peavey 5150 and matching cabinet
- Boston 100 – Expanded version of the ’82 Scholz Rockman model with stereo mode and cabinet modeling.
You also get the following effects to colour your amp tones;
- Satch Wah – which is modelled after a Vox BBW Wah
- Satch Dist – Based on the early ‘80s Japanese-made BOSS DS-1
- Satch Overdrive – which takes after an early ‘80s Japanese-made BOSS OD-1
- Tube Overdrive – based on the mid-80s Chandler Tube Driver
- Satch Octave – modelled after a Fulltone Ultimate Octave.
