The Montreux Jazz Festival is not only a venue for legendary musical moments, but also a place where artists such as Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and Prince have given unforgettable performances. Just like last year, Thomann is teaming up with Shure and the Montreux Jazz Festival to offer talented artists and bands the opportunity to perform live on this historic stage. The winner of this competition will not only receive a performance slot on July 14, 2025 at 9:30 p.m., but also high-quality equipment from Shure and a trip to the Festival, including accommodation, which will take place from July 4 to 19, 2025.

Montreux Jazz Festival: Your Chance to Play with the Greats

The application phase will run from May 12 to May 25, 2025, followed by a community vote from May 26 to June 8 to select the top 10 acts. A panel of judges will then select the top three acts from June 9-22. The winner will be announced on June 23, 2025 on the Thomann blog and on the Thomann social media sites and can look forward to an unforgettable live performance on July 14, 2025 at 9:30 pm at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Competition Schedule and Prizes for Your Performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival

May 12 to May 25: registration phase
May 26 to June 8: Community voting: Top 10
June 9th to 22nd: Jury voting: Top 3
June 23: Winner announcement
July 14: Festival performance by winning act

In addition to the festival performance, the grand prize includes a fee of €3,000, full coverage of travel and hotel expenses, and Shure equipment valued at €7,000. The second and third runners-up will each receive €5,000 worth of Shure equipment. By the way: The equipment will not be selected by Thomann.de; the winners will be able to choose the Shure equipment that best suits their needs. Sounds very exciting!

Interested bands and solo artists should take the opportunity to apply for this competition and possibly take an important step in their musical career. Applications can be submitted via the Thomann Blog, where you can find more information and the terms and conditions.
