MC10: Lake People Brings Monitor Control to the Palm of Your Hand
Monitor Controller Without Ballast

With the MC10, Lake People expands its monitor controller line with a model clearly aimed at compact setups. Following the MC100 and MC50, this new solution takes up minimal space yet offers comprehensive monitor management. The MC10 helps you listen reliably on the go. At the same time, the standards for sound and control remain as high as ever. You get a mobile monitoring center that works without any detours.
All About the Lake People MC10
Mobile Monitoring Center Without Space Requirements
The MC10 combines digital and analog signal paths in a very small housing. It processes high-resolution PCM audio up to 384 kHz and 32 bits, as well as DSD formats, via USB-C. Additionally, an analog source can be integrated via RCA. You can select the respective source with a switch on the front panel. This keeps things clear and straightforward, even in cramped working environments.
The MC10 is surprisingly flexible on the output side. You can connect a pair of speakers via XLR or RCA connectors and use them separately or together with two pairs. Additionally, two headphone jacks are available, both carrying the same signal. One uses a large jack and the other uses a small jack. This allows you to use different headphones in parallel without having to switch connections. This is particularly practical when working on the go.
Less Space, Same Control
The integrated headphone amplifier plays a special role, and Lake People’s expertise is evident in its design. The MC10 uses a pre-gain circuit that adapts to different headphones. This ensures controlled, distortion-free playback. Power is supplied directly via USB-C, eliminating the need for separate power supplies. However, you can use an external power supply to reduce the load on mobile devices.
The MC10 is consistently built with high-quality components. An Alps RK27 potentiometer controls the volume and is precise and easy to use. The housing is manufactured in Germany and meets Lake People’s renowned quality standards. Even with frequent use on the go, the workmanship remains reliable. The MC10 does not feel like a compromise; it feels like high-quality studio hardware.
Price, Availability, and Conclusion
With its premiere at the NAMM Show 2026, the controller demonstrates the potential of compact studio solutions. It combines precise conversion, flexible outputs, and high-quality monitoring in a small space. The MC10 is ideal for use wherever space is limited, yet volume control over sound is necessary. Developed by Lake People, the MC10 continues the tradition of functional studio tools.
