Jackson Christian Andreu Rhoads RR24 EVTN6: The Gojira Guitarist’s Signature Guitar Gets an Exciting Update!
V-style, single humbucker, EverTune bridge!
While Gojira frontman Joe Duplantier’s switch from Charvel to ESP earlier this year caused a bit of a ruckus in the scene, lead guitarist Christian Andreu has remained with Jackson for years. Today, the company is introducing a new model of his signature guitar, the Jackson Christian Andreu Rhoads RR24 EVTN6, featuring an EverTune F6 bridge and other new features. Visually, they’ve really stepped it up a notch.
Jackson Christian Andreu Signature: What a Beast!
I discovered Gojira late compared to how long they’ve been in the game, really only after their insane performance at Olympia 2024. And man, these French guys are just so heavy. These massive riffs, that ultra-precise drumming, all wrapped up in extremely intelligent songwriting. And moreover, Gojira is committed to climate action! Wow! Awesome!
At its core, though, the quartet remains a progressive metal combo. And visually alone, the Pro Plus Series Signature Christian Andreu Rhoads RR24 EVTN6 (the model’s full name) fits like a heavy metal glove to the mosh pit. That black finish with the thick white binding in a V-style shape… I like!

What Are the Special Features of the Jackson Christian Andreu Signature?
Let’s take a closer look, starting with the tone woods. Set in the center of the alder body is the through-body three-piece graphite-reinforced maple neck, as is typical of Jackson. Visually complementary, an ebony fretboard sits atop it, complete with Inverted Pearloid Ghost Fins inlays.

In terms of size, the Jackson Christian Andreu signature features a classic 25.5-inch scale length and a compound radius from 12 to 16 inches. The fretboard is adorned with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, allowing for smooth, rapid riffing in both the lowest and highest registers.
What Does the Signature Offer in Terms of Hardware and Electronics?
As the name suggests, the Jackson Christian Andreu Signature comes with an EverTune F6 bridge. Not quite a massive Floyd Rose setup, but in tune even until the strings break, plus die-cast loking tuners. And the hardware is all in matte black, of course.

When it comes to pickups, the Signature follows a trend that has become increasingly popular in recent years, particularly in various metal genres: purism. One pickup, one volume control, that’s it. Here, Jackson has opted for a Fishman Fluence Open Core Modern OEM-MO6-ABB humbucker.
The guitar also features a three-way switch that allows you to switch between three pickup voicings.
How much does the Jackson Christian Andreu Signature cost?
The Jackson Pro Plus Series Signature Christian Andreu Rhoads RR24 EVTN6 is now available for $1,859 / £1,666 / €1,919 at Thomann*. A Jackson RR Foam Core Case is included.
