HK Audio ELEMENTS MK2: A New Compact Modular Column System
HK's compact column rig gets an upgrade.
The HK Audio ELEMENTS MK2 is a scalable modular long-throw column PA speaker rig with built-in DSP, ideal for events where space may be limited.
The modular design of the ELEMENTS MK2 makes this system easy to set up and scale for different-sized events. Venues like smaller rooftop spaces can be hard to take on with standard PA systems, but the ELEMENTS MK2 makes this straightforward for DJ-based shows, live music, and speeches.
HK Audio ELEMENTS MK2
The ELEMENTS MK2 works like a miniature line array, with a 90-degree (horizontal) x 5-degree (vertical) dispersion angle. With its newly designed phaseplug waveguide system, the new MK2 provides precision control of the dispersion, ensuring that the projected sound coverage is cohesive over the space.
This ensures that the audience gets a consistent experience from any position within the sound field. Meanwhile, the boxy midrange profile of the previous generation is completely transformed with a wide, clear, high-frequency range and mids that are far richer and fuller in comparison.
Each 635 passive column speaker is equipped with six 3.25-inch drivers with six phaseplug horns, and it uses the SnapLock system for an easy setup without requiring tools of any kind. In addition, for systems that don’t require an entire driver column, you can mount the Spacer unit(s) between the subwoofer and the 635.

The system’s amplification comes from the subwoofers, of course, and you have a choice of two: the versatile 10-inch 110 Sub A (900W RMS), which can be used in horizontal and vertical configurations, and the 15-inch 115 Sub A (1,500W RMS). Both subs use a bass reflex cabinet design with a crossover at 175 Hz, and the DSP CONTROL app provides remote access to 10-band EQ, limiter, filters, polarity, and delay.
