EHX Satisfaction Plus has been tweaked and updated and now offers what they describe as a wide palette of tones from classic ‘60s snarl to creamy lead tone to thick, earth-shaking sludge. Will this give guitarists even more fuzz satisfaction?

Electro-Harmonix has revamped the Satisfaction Plus fuzz pedal and added more control, and more tones and is now even more versatile.

The original Satisfaction Fuzz * circuit was a tribute to that classic ’60s Rolling Stones fuzz tone.
Whereas the new Satisfaction Plus Fuzz adds a modern control set that includes a FAT/NORM mode switch, Bias control and Tone control.
The company describes the FAT mode as featuring a tone that is bigger and warmer than the NORM mode. Offering players woolly leads and giant wall-of-thunder riffs. I guess that means more oompf then.
Then the new Tone control is now an active tilt-shift EQ that inversely controls both the treble and bass of the fuzz for broad tonal shifting. Finally, users can n0w set the Bias control to dial in the fuzz character from balanced and open to gated and snarly.
Overall, it sounds from the official demo video to be a worthwhile update, as it now offers more extreme fuzz tones and more variations on that classic ’60s-style fuzz. It can get quite sludgy and doomy, which many players will love.

Verdict
Mike Matthews and his team of pedal designers have managed to add even more useable features. I think guitarists will enjoy these updates and so this could be one to check out if you love fuzz.
