Cableguys ShaperBox 3 Plugin Adds Movement to Your Audio Tracks
Many music producers, not just those working with electronic music, swear by Cableguys’ modulation effects. They have been doing so for years. The plugins are known for their versatile volume modulations, including gate effects, kick sidechain simulations, auto filter effects, and simple panoramic movements. Despite their many features, the plugins are self-explanatory. Simply draw in an LFO or click on a preset curve, and you’re ready to go!
With Shaperbox 3, they present an updated version with new features and improvements. One new feature is Audio Triggering, which restarts the LFO movement with each transient of the incoming audio signal. It also includes the possibility of external sidechain triggering. The Sidechain View now shows the sidechain input waveform, allowing you to trace it more quickly. Very cool!
The LiquidShaper is a new effects module that adds flanger and phaser effects to the package. It also includes a comb filter effect.
