Of course, being an Arturia instrument, Jup-8000 V includes a clutch of extras that take the synth beyond its original intentions, with a Multi-Arp, polyphonic sequencer, four-slot effects suite with 18 algorithms from Arturia’s deep stable of amazing sound processors, and more. Arturia Pigments 7: On Sale
What do you think is the best soft synth on the market? Many will say Omnisphere or Serum 2, but for my money it’s Pigments. Now up to version 7, Pigments is a super synth that has a little bit of everything under the hood, plus a level of sound quality that continues to impress. The GUI is also incredible, a masterclass in how to design a synth visually.
Still need convincing? Here’s some spec porn: it’s got six synthesis engines, including Modal, Granular, Wavetable, Sample, Harmonic and Virtual Analog, a bajillion filter types, incredible effects, and drag-and-drop modulation with animated readouts so you can see exactly how the source is affecting the target.
