Anthema Vol.1 for GS Music Bree6 by Scott McAuley Sounds

Hot on the heels of their amazing E7 synth, GS Music followed it up with the Bree6, proving that they weren’t just a flash in the pan. With a sound that betrays its diminutive footprint, the Bree6 is a single oscillator, six-voice analogue poly synth.

You could think of it as a modern take on the JUNO, but that would be unfair. To the JUNO! It has a delightfully simple user interface and one, yes ONE, oscillator per voice with both saw and square waveforms, with PWM. This is bolstered by a sub-oscillator and then fed through a 4-pole, low-pass ladder filter

There’s an LFO and two EG’s alongside chorus and delay effects, and it even manages to pack in MPE support. Whilst the Bree6 comes out of the box with 512 presets, there’s always room for more, and that’s where Scott McAuley comes in.

Anthema is his first pack of sounds for the Bree6, and judging by the fact it’s called Vol.1, it won’t be his last! He’s crafted 64 brand new sounds for it, and they really do show off the capabilities of this diminutive Argentine heavy hitter.

Check out the demos and if you own a Bree6, you’d be quite daft not to invest in these sounds. You can grab them from Scott’s website now for just £25.99.

Complete Synth Collection for Sequential FOURM by Synthonia

The Sequential Fourm blends the classic Prophet sound with a user interface that resembles their Pro-One from back in the day. I’d imagine that if Sequential had reissued the Pro-One, nobody would have complained, but the Fourm is a delightful and surprising compact synth.

Not only is it four-voice polyphonic, harnessing that unique Sequential sound, but it also features a polyphonic aftertouch keyboard of their own design. And then there’s that UI which is clear, simple and effective. And all of this for less than £/$/€1K!

Playing one is a real joy, and the slim key design in no way detracts from how this thing feels and plays. The team at Synthonia clearly felt the same and came up with a pack of 75 new patches for this brilliant little synth.

Space Travel for ASM Hydrasynth by Krzysztof Kurkowski

There aren’t many synths that can be on sale for over 5 years and still be talked about and revered as ASM’s debut synth. But then there aren’t many synths quite like it. It redefined what we’ve come to expect from a powerful, creative and expressive synthesizer.

And with ASM being back in the news with the mighty Leviasynth, their sophomore keyboard synth that is blowing people away, it seems that the Hydrasynth is still getting plenty of love, not least in the form of banks of sounds like ‘Space Travel’ by Krzysztof Kurkowski.

Containing a slightly odd number of patches, 87 all told (could they have created three more to round the numbers up?), Space Travel delivers a wide range of new patches that will work on all versions of the Hydrasynth.

Meditations for Omnisphere by Tom Wolfe

What can be said about Omnisphere that hasn’t been said already? It’s a veritable monster of a plugin. It contains more sounds than you can shake a proverbial stick at, and all of these sounds are eminently usable and inspiring in equal measure.

I know professional musicians who swear by it and use it on everything they do. The sheer range of sounds and styles it can cover is staggering, so you might think there’s no need to expand upon what comes out of the box. Well, Tom Wolfe thinks otherwise.

Meditations, as its very name suggests, is a collection of soft, relaxing and serene patches, something that composers of ambient or meditative music will lap up. The bank contains 50 stereo presets for Omnisphere, including 23 brand new sound sources.

More Information

For those that really want to get deep into creating evolving, organic and immersive music, there’s also a binaural edition that adds 50 binaural presets to the existing stereo ones and introduces another 50 sound sources.

Both packs are currently on sale until the 10th of February 2026 with the regular version reduced from £23.99 to £15.99 and the binaural version down from £31.99 to £23.99, direct from Tom’s website.

Synchronicity for AAS Strum GS-2 by Thiago Pinheiro

Guitars are one acoustic instrument that samples can never seem to get quite right, so you’d expect physical modelling to do a better job, and, for the most part, it does. Where most ‘synthetic’ guitar recreations miss is the nuance of actually playing a stringed instrument on a keyboard.

Advances in the quality of scripted interfaces have definitely improved things, but it isn’t easy to authentically recreate the interaction of human hands on strings. However, AAS’s Strum GS-2 gets much closer than most, and this new bank for it certainly makes a great case.

Created by Brazilian virtuoso Thiago Pinheiro, Synchronicity does what all good guitar libraries do, and that is to steer clear of trying to be as authentic as possible and instead, try and do something a little different.

More Information

This pack contains 84 new presets, 12 styles and 84 loops for you to play around with and works with Strum GS-2’s acoustic and electric guitar models. Playing around with these sounds is not only fun but also really inspirational. Better still, the library works with the free AAS Player, included in the purchase.

Synchronicity is currently on offer, down from €39 to just €19 and can be bought from the AAS website.
