The PRS SE Ed Sheeran Hollowbody I Piezo Baritone is now officially part of the standard lineup. We first saw this model as a limited run, and now it is a permanent fixture and available in three new finishes.

Back in January, PRS launched the limited edition PRS SE Ed Sheeran model in a Cosmic Splash finish. This Hollowbody I Piezo Baritone followed a ‘one-off’ model created for Sheeran in 2025 for the F1 movie.
New Finishes
Now the PRS SE Ed Sheeran Hollowbody I Piezo Baritone is officially a standard model in the PRS lineup and available in three new finishes: Kaleidoscope, Orange Tiger Smokeburst, and Pink Ombre.
27.7″ Baritone
Crafted with a maple top and mahogany back, this hollow-body guitar features a center-block design that perfectly balances rich resonance with controlled feedback.
It features an extended 27.7” scale length to enhance string tension and clarity, allowing low tunings to ring out with massive authority. This makes it an exceptional tool for songwriters experimenting with different keys and for shredders laying down heavy riffs.
Magnetic & Piezo Tones
It comes equipped with PRS 85/15 “S” pickups and a PRS/LR Baggs piezo system, offering a broad palette of useful tones.
Players can blend the piezo’s acoustic voice with the standard pickups, or isolate either signal to match the specific flexibility needed for stage and studio performances. PRS states that it has been designed to deliver a consistently rich, articulate tone, whether you are strumming rhythm chords, looping electric melodies, or driving massive baritone riffs.
Having humbuckers that can blend with a piezo tone could be useful. The controls consist of
Magnetic Volume, Piezo Volume, Tone Control, and a 3-Way pickup switch.
Who is it for?
Baritone guitars have certainly been back on the map in recent years. We just had the Gretsch models only last week, which shows you how popular these models are becoming once more.
This latest signature model comes at a high price, as it features a piezo and the Sheeran association. It offers a lot of useful guitar tones and potential for songwriters.
