On show at High End Munich today, the new Audio-Technica AT-LPA2 turntable is inspired by the translucent design of the popular AT-LP2022.
With its high-density transparent acrylic 30 mm chassis and its 20 mm platter, the AT-LPA2 has been created for discerning vinyl listeners who enjoy uncompromising sound quality as well as definitive design aesthetics.

The breathtaking AT-LPA2 uses a high-precision belt drive system that features an optical sensor under the spindle. There are two playback speeds (33.5 or 45 rpm), and the sensor ensures the accuracy and consistency of the playback system. Another important design feature is that the power supply is separate from the turntable.
This allows the audio reproduction to be completely free from any risk of electrical interference, so you can enjoy pristine audio quality at all times. Speaking of top-quality audio, the AT-LPA2 comes pre-installed with the AT-OC9XEN moving-coil cartridge. This features an elliptical stylus and high-grade PCOCC coils, giving you the best channel separation and lowest distortion levels possible.
Finally, the AT-LPA2 features a newly designed straight carbon fiber tonearm that delivers precise, consistent tracking, and it’s equipped with controls to adjust the tracking angle, azimuth, and anti-skating system. What’s more, you can add different counterweights to the tonearm, and it offers compatibility with a wide range of replacement cartridges.
Also included is an RCA cable, a ground cable, an adapter for 45 rpm singles, a dust cover, a setup tool, and a pair of gloves to avoid fingerprints.
