Trackspacer plugin from Wavesfactory takes a unique approach to perfectly “sidechain” complex frequency overlaps in your mix. Rather than focusing on the volume of a signal like a classic compressor does, this Wavesfactory plugin analyzes the frequency spectrum of a sidechain source in real time and precisely targets where signals overlap. The result is not a crude level reduction, but rather, a finely tuned frequency correction. This precise difference is what makes the Trackspacer one of my favorite tools for creating space and minimizing frequency overlap. Its precise response to tonal content ensures that central elements, such as kick drums, vocals, leads, and solo instruments, can stand out more without completely overshadowing other tracks.
Wavesfactory Trackspacer works like an automated equalizer, making decisions based on a complex, real-time analysis system. It evaluates 32 frequency bands and applies the respective curves to a target track. The result is a mix in which every element has its defined place, especially when two or more signals occupy the same frequency range. Unlike a multiband compressor, which is level-dependent and has fixed bands, the Wavesfactory Trackspacer works with significantly greater precision and flexibility. This makes the effects in the mix sound more natural and requires fewer manual corrections or complex automation.
Additionally, Wavesfactory Trackspacer’s graphical interface allows you to easily adjust the intensity via a central control element and intervene more deeply in the behavior of the frequency adjustment. You can determine whether the effect should be applied more to the midrange or the stereo sides, how quickly the intervention should occur, and to which frequency range the sidechain should refer. If desired, you can listen to the sidechain signal directly to better understand what is happening in the background. This proves to be extremely helpful and efficient, especially when making subtle mixing decisions.

iZotope VocalSynth 2 lets you creatively edit vocal recordings. The program offers numerous extraordinary sound manipulations that go far beyond classic effects. At its core are five individually mixable modules that allow you to shape the character of the voice in different ways. Softube Tube-Tech CL 1B Mk II is on Sale for 60% Off
The Softube Tube-Tech CL 1B Mk II is a reimagined version of the legendary optical blue Tube-Tech compressor, a staple in almost every genre for years.
