Studiologic has announced the Numa X Piano GT SE. The second-generation stage piano is more than an eye-catching facelift: it boasts more samples, a completely new synth engine, new effects, and more!
Studiologic Numa X Piano GT SE
The Studiologic Numa X Piano GT was first unveiled in 2021. At NAMM 2026, the manufacturer presents the second generation of its flagship stage piano. Sporting a bright orange metallic finish and wooden sides, the Numa X Piano GT SE is a real stunner. What’s even more interesting, however, is what Studiologic has done to the sound engines.
According to Studiologic, the Numa X Piano GT SE offers 4 GB of sample memory – twice as much as the predecessor. The acoustic piano engine has been refined with advanced physical modeling for even more realism, depth, and dynamics. For example, you can now adjust the release behavior of the piano sounds to control how the individual notes interact with the soundboard.
The electric pianos have also been improved. According to Studiologic, the newly refined Electric Modeling 2 engine offers more realism and a wider dynamic range than before. The developers paid special attention to the interaction between the sounds and the new amp simulation to give the sounds more character, warmth, and bite. There’s also a new user interface for more intuitive sound design.
On top of this, the Numa X Piano GT SE boasts a completely new virtual-analog synth engine. Offering everything from classic waveforms and complex analog timbres, the stage piano can now produce a wide range of virtual-analog synth sounds, ranging from expressive leads to evolving textures. Nice!
The Studiologic Numa X Piano GT SE is equipped with the Fatar TP/400 Wood keybed with hammer action, ivory feel, escapement, and aftertouch. It also offers high-resolution velocity for an expressive playing experience across the entire dynamic range.
Price and Availability
As of now, we don’t know when the Studiologic Numa X Piano GT SE will become available. The manufacturer has yet to announce the price.
