NAMM Deals Straight From the Show Floor

NAMM 2026 is currently underway, and just like every year, it’s a dizzying show with the latest and greatest musical instruments on display. While most of the gear on the show floor is so new, much of it hasn’t been released (or sometimes doesn’t even have a name yet!) I thought I would take this opportunity to highlight some of the deals on at Thomann from NAMM exhibitors.

NAMM Deals: Behringer Pro VS Mini Cheap as Chips

Behringer is showing again at NAMM this year, with some great stuff on display, including the long-awaited D Mini, the portable version of the company’s Model D. While that won’t be out for awhile, there are plenty of other entries in the Mini series that are, including this corker, the Pro VS Mini – and it’s on sale at Thomann.

A tinyfied version of Sequential’s beautiful Prophet VS digital synth, it’s got 16 vector oscillators with 128 waveforms and a kind of wavetable synthesis. You can’t scan, but you can cross-fade between four oscillators using the onboard joystick. There’s also a luscious 24dB/Oct analog lowpass filter to smooth out that lovely ‘80s aliasing, plus envelopes and effects. Like the other Minis, you also get a 16-step sequencer, plus an arpeggiator with three modes. That’s a lot of synth for not a lot of money.

And best of all, it’s on sale for $85 / £75 / €88 at Thomann*.

NAMM Deals: Hercules DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 Significant Savings

We had some big DJ news drop ahead of NAMM from AlphaTheta and Rane, but the big surprise was the DJControl T10 from Hercules, a controller with 10-inch motorized platters. These fancy decks are sure to be cool – but also a little pricey (the company is shooting for under $1500). If you need something to DJ on now, are working within a budget, and like what Hercules has to offer, check out the DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2

A DJ controller with a built-in USB audio interface, the DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 offers two jog wheels for mixing, both with vinyl feel and pressure detection, as well as eight performance pads per deck for functions like hot cues and rolls, an effects rack with two FX knobs and a dry/wet slip, a built-in light guide to help with beatmatching, and more.

The controller is compatible with Serato DJ Pro and includes Serato DJ Lite and DJUCED. It’s also ridiculously affordable at Thomann* right now. It’s $166 / £147 / €169, down from a regular $250.

NAMM Deals: Arturia Jup-8000 V on Sale

Arturia’s had a pretty quiet 2026 so far, with just the new KeyLab Essential mk3 controllers in rose quartz and aquamarine colors making their debut. Last year, however, saw the company release V Collection 11, the latest version of its long-running (and ever-growing) selection of software instruments

One of the standout releases of the package was Jup-8000 V, its take on the classic Roland virtual analog synthesizer, JP-8000. The king of the 1990s, you couldn’t pass a Love Parade without hearing the JP-8000’s famous supersaw oscillator in action, which buzzed all over the biggest trance anthems of the decade.

Arturia’s take on the synth recreates the original with two digital oscillators with seven waveforms (including that supersaw as well as the unique feedback), plus additional modes like sync, wide tuning, ring modulation, cross modulation and PWM. You also get the multimode filter, two ADSR envelopes, and two LFOs. Of course, being Arturia, the company ups the ante with 16 voices of polyphony, a multi-arpeggiator with four lanes, a polyphonic sequencer, drag-and-drop modulation assignment, and four effects slots including trance gate. Glow sticks not included, though.

The JP-8000 is a VA classic and Arturia’s version is a must-have for modern trance and melodic techno producers. It’s also on sale, meaning if you didn’t buy it when it came out, you can still get the intro discount. Download it from Thomann* for $95 / £85 / €95.
