Software Deals of the Week
IK Multimedia Effects and Instruments are Now Available at Special Prices With up to 40% Off!
When prices drop at Audiotools, it’s worth taking a closer look. The developer IK Multimedia is currently offering a range of exciting software products at greatly reduced prices. These include classic guitar plugins and numerous tools for mixing, mastering, sampling, and virtual instruments, which can be used in a variety of music genres.
Of particular note are the discounts on the two well-known software solutions for guitarists and fans of realistic amp simulations: IK Multimedia AmpliTube 5 and ToneX. While the standard versions offer significant savings, the Max bundles provide an even greater discount. Anyone considering purchasing these products should take advantage of this offer.
Beyond guitar simulations, IK Multimedia’s software is versatile and attractive to producers looking for authentic-sounding instruments or flexible effects. The physically modeled bass and drum Plugins, IK Multimedia MODO Bass and IK Multimedia MODO Drum, offer high sonic value, especially for electronic productions. The Hammond B-3 organ simulation made by IK Multimedia is equally impressive, offering a realistic feel and assertive sound.
The range is complemented by IK Multimedia SampleTank 4 and IK Multimedia Syntronik 2 tools, which feature extensive libraries of classic synthesizer sounds based on samples. The Pianoverse series, on the other hand, is aimed at producers looking for high-quality piano sounds for their arrangements. Those involved in mixing and mastering will find what they need in the IK Multimedia T-RackS 6 Bundles, Lurssen Mastering Console, MixBox, and more. Individual effect Plugins, such as the TASCAM Tape Bundle or the reverb module with a Sunset sound character, are currently discounted and offer useful options for adding sonic depth to productions.
ARC 4 software is also noteworthy because it can adapt automatically to different listening environments. It can significantly simplify the mixing process, especially in acoustically challenging studios or with changing listening positions. If you are interested in purchasing a new product or expanding your existing productions, you should consider these offers.
Until July 2, 2025, you can purchase IK Multimedia plugins with a discount of up to 40% at Thomann*.

SSL 4K B Channelstrip Plugin: Get 64% Off for a Limited Time!
Solid State Logic recently released the SSL 4K B, a new channel strip emulation based on the legendary SL 4000 B console. This 1976 mixing console is considered one of the first SSL mixing consoles and shaped some of the most important pop productions with its unmistakable analog sound. The famous “Stone Room” studio at London’s Townhouse Studios was equipped with a 4000 B. This is where Phil Collins’s “In the Air Tonight,” The Buggles’ “Video Killed the Radio Star,” and Peter Gabriel’s “Intruder” were recorded, among others.
Compared to more modern SSL emulations, such as the Channel Strip 2, the 4K B is rougher, livelier, and more characterful. While newer channel strips are designed for precise transparency, the 4K B delivers distinctly colored, musical processing particularly suitable for tonally demanding signals. This is due to the equalizer, considered the precursor to the “Brown Knob EQ,” and the compressor circuit. It is based on bus compressor design rather than channel compressor design and uses peak detection and feedback VCA topology in the sidechain. Additionally, a de-esser mode has been integrated that sounds very different from the typical SSL compressors.
The emulation of the Jensen JE-115K-E transformer in the preamp section ensures an authentic sound. This is complemented by a faithfully recreated VCA fader circuit based on dbx “Black Can” 202 components. The level of detail in the emulation extends down to the component level, which is clearly noticeable in the signal processing’s musical behavior. The plugin’s distinctive tone, which immediately stands out in the mix, is characterized by the typical SSL overtones, harmonic distortion, and slight saturation in the high frequencies.
Integration into existing setups is particularly convenient thanks to the SSL 360° connection. Users of the UC1 and UF8 hardware controllers now have a fully remote-controllable solution that fits seamlessly into hybrid workflows. The 4K B is also state of the art: in addition to supporting Apple Silicon natively, its flexible plugin mixer structure ensures stable, resource-efficient use within modern DAWs. If you’re looking for a warm, powerful sound heavily influenced by analog classics from the early SSL era, this channel strip is the perfect addition to your setup. And now at a special price!
The SSL 4K B plugin is available now at Plugin Boutique* with up to 64% off until June 30, 2025.

Martinic Software Instruments and Effects are on Sale for up to 30% Off
Martinic is a plugin manufacturer that captures the sound of classic instruments and effects with meticulous attention to detail. Thomann is currently offering discounts on some of these virtual recreations—a great opportunity to experience what makes these emulations special. The focus is on the AX73, a software version of the AKAI synthesizer of the same name from the 1980s. With its four analog oscillators, the original synthesizer caused quite a stir back in the day. This reinterpretation expands the sound spectrum with additional modulation options. A revised arpeggiator and a sub-oscillator from the AX80 significantly expand the sound palette, making the virtual AX73 a versatile tool for modern productions.
Martinic also offers an emulation of the Elka Panther 300. This combo organ is considered one of the most distinctive instruments of the 1960s. According to the developers, the software reproduction is based on the original sound aesthetic but adds features beyond the physical model’s capabilities. In combination with effects such as Lem Echo Music, it produces atmospherically dense soundscapes particularly suitable for retro-inspired productions. Lem Echo Music is the digital implementation of a tape echo effect from the Italian manufacturer Lem. In addition to the typical tape delay sounds, the plugin offers a stereo mode and the option to age the tape signal.
The current offering also includes Scanner Vibrato, an effect module that replicates the characteristic vibrato sound of a historic tone wheel organ. However, compared to its predecessor, significantly more parameters can be adjusted, allowing for additional sonic flexibility. Those interested in multiple plugins can purchase a software bundle called the Retro Pack, which includes various classics from the 1960s. In addition to the aforementioned emulations, the Retro Pack includes Kee Bass, a virtual implementation of the Rheem Kee Bass. It was used as a monophonic bass synthesizer in many rock and soul productions at the time.
All Martinic software instruments and effects are available at Thomann* until July 17, 2025, with up to 30% off.
