The LIOBOX² is an innovative performance controller from GOOROO CONTROLLERS, with its second production batch shipping from next week.
The LIOBOX² integrates with all major DAW systems, including Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic Pro, Reaper, and more. However, the device can be configured to work with any MIDI-enabled software or hardware.
GOOROO LIOBOX²
The LIOBOX² is a compact desktop-format controller with a 3.5-inch display that gives you a clear overview of its operations and functionality, depending on which mode you have selected. By far, one of the most exciting functions is the ability to launch tracks in your DAW, which are triggered via the pads.
In addition, you can build and edit setlists, which are automatically harvested and consistently updated from your Ableton Live or Reaper Session data. At first glance, you might not think much of the control panel, but the device allows you to use four different banks for a total of 48 individually assignable controls.
This is particularly effective for creating your own custom controller ecosystem for your band, and the controller provides plenty of freedom to blend the exciting features of the flexible DAW environment with live musicians. The connectivity panel is also equipped with two USB ports for redundancy, so you can connect two computers for a perfectly stable MIDI setup throughout your performance.
The controller covers DAW transport functions, and you can also use its MIDI I/O ports to run external hardware synths, samplers, and drum machines. Overall, it’s an exciting tactile controller with an instantly gratifying fun factor and loads of geeky customization options for the live electronic music performer.
Pricing and Availability:
The LIOBOX² is currently available for pre-order from GOOROO CONTROLLERS, shipping from 3 November, priced at €369 excluding shipping and taxes.
