The Normal channel is the Centurio’s main channel and follows the proven Klon principle. With its own Gain and Volume controls, it covers the entire range from clean boost to light overdrive. This channel responds sensitively to picking dynamics – soft plucking provides clarity, while pressing harder delivers more punch.
Hot Mode is the second independent channel with its own footswitch, gain and volume controls, and a dedicated bright switch – completely separate from the normal channel. An additional, internally integrated second gain stage provides more saturation and compression. The typical Klon feel is always retained in the background.
Germanium & MOSFET clipping
A crucial function is played by the clip control, which blends between two diode types: Germanium at its minimum setting delivers a soft, vintage-inspired character with a natural saturation feel. MOSFET at its maximum setting provides more clarity, directness, and assertiveness.
